455 inscriptions. Only the chancel and ruins of the Inglis Aisle of the church still remain. Chancel houses the tombs of the Earls of Douglas and plaques for men of The Lanarkshire Yeomanry. In the bell tower is a clock, said to be the oldest in Scotland, dating from 1565.
